This was taken from the bridge between resorts during the evacuation. Again, perhaps people were allowed back into the lobby, but that doesn’t necessarily conflict with the building having been evacuated beyond the 4th floor. In the end, I don’t doubt that the conflicting report was correct...

I don’t know what to say. I’m not intending to start a rumour or spread misinformation. I’m sharing my account of what happened, what I saw, and what the staff at top of the world told me. I’m sorry my photo isn’t more dramatic or that apparently my information doesn’t match yours.

I’m sorry that we have conflicting stories. From our view California grill was evacuated as well and no guests were present on balconies or on any interior corridors. We went to top of the world and were informed that the fire alarm had been triggered and the building evacuated.

Yes it was. The strobe lights and alarms were going and when we arrived on the concourse it was deserted with security and a chef from chef mickeys ushering us out of the building.

The contemporary was fully evacuated this evening for about two hours. Not sure why. We were one of the last ones out and ushered outside. Not the best picture of what happened as it was taken later but the only people in the building were security guards.

The CM was not punished. I recently took the Keys To The Kingdom tour and while offstage a member of our party asked about the Tigger incident. Our tour guide (who introduced himself as pretty high-up, being in charge of the castle suite opening) informed us that pretty much what the original...

My last thing to say...go ahead and cancel your trip. This could happen anywhere, at anytime. Nobody has that much control. You can't expect disney to say no to Gay Days when 99% of the people attending are going for innocent fun, just as you can't expect New Orleans to cancel Southern...

wdw1971, I agree with you completely! I mean, of course ABC won't report on this...but why hasn't any other station picked up on the story? I find FoX a little too keen on molding stories to raise raitings...
