Agreed. And for that matter, I don’t think the comments of people commenting on social media sites can give an accurate impression of general sentiment either. Many of those folks that tag every friend and say “Susie Q did you see this? We have to go now!!!!” are apt to like anything and everything

Good review and valid points. I have said elsewhere that this feels more like a procession and not a parade.

So do you think that it is perfect as is? If not are there things you would change? Anything you would improve? Anything you would add or delete? I don’t hate it. I just think it should be considered a work in progress. There is much that could be done to make it better, in my opinion.

I missed Chip and Dale too. I would actually put them where Mickey and Minnie are now. I would move Donald and Daisy from where they are now and replace them with Clarabelle and Horace because, well, I like them. And I think a final float after Whimsy with Donald and Daisy and Mickey and Minnie...

I agree about the title float. Since it is Starlight, a float designed like a large two-sided shooting star using technology like Whimsy’s face to swirl and alternate between “Walt Disney World Presents” and “Starlight.” I’d have the Blue Fairy after that and then I would add a float of flying...

The person I was watching the video with is not as knowledgeable as the people on these boards but is certainly more knowledgeable than most and asked of the Enchanted float, “Why do they have an Asian portraying Pocahontas?”

So, after a few hours since the premiere, having slept on it and watched it again, I feel more than I did before that this parade, while pleasant, just seems to be lacking in a few key areas as I mentioned before. It seems like they ran out of steam (or money) when doing the final plussing on it...

Seems…nice. But it also needs…more. The floats with just one character seem a little bare without more on them. The Pinnocho and Gepetto element is a little unusual. The black suited performers with light poles really just seem to accentuate the spacing between floats. Their costumes need more...

I wonder if eventually they will have the parade go all the way around the new area and between it and Villains land instead of taking the straight route between the new waterway and the Frontierland buildings.
