I was at Epcot the Saturday before Christmas and rode the new Seas with Nemo ride. Although it was cute and kids should enjoy it, I also felt it was dumbed down and boring, and has no reride factor at all. The Living Seas definitely needed a rehab but I think Disney went about it the wrong way...

I thought the same thing, especially when I look at pictures. It's like, "this is so 80s!!" Anyway, it would be nice if instead of bringing it into the 90s, they brought it into the 2000s :) Also I am a teen and I always liked Epcot, and I am sure some of the friends I know would find it...

It would be a reincarnation of WoL. I know it would not fit into WoL the way it is now, but we all know it needs something new, with a less nauseating, thrill-inspried main attraction.

That Europa ride is outrageous! That is an exact copy of SE, and it even has all those triangle things all over it!! How rude!!! Can't this park come up with an original idea instead of copying someone elses--it's bad enough to copy the idea of building a geodesic dome as the center of a park...

LASERS That must be true for some of the lasers, but you can see the lasers like the one at Mexico (if it is still there) perfectly without any smoke. Probably they are different types. I would guess that they have to use different types because the vivid kind like at Mexico are only...

Yeah I just wanted to cover the 1% just in case :) I did notice that they are getting shorter and shorter with each incarnation! Did you like the old one better too? I haven't seen the current one. While I'm sure it must be more spectacular, I think I would still like the old one...

Thanks for clarifying that. I would have thought it would be hard to do with all the triangle things on S.E., but I guess not. I don't mean to offend fans of this site but intercot has much more complete information on the Illuminations evolution...

The old original Illuminations actually ended in September 1996 when it was replaced by one especially designed for the 25 year anniversary. I like the original better. Ironically the original ended like the 2nd day we were there on our trip, and we didn't happen to see it until the 4th day...

It's not like I try to prevent it from moving. I just put my hand on it. I think there would have been a better way to lock the doors and seal them from water. Oh well.

Hey, I did that all the time too!! One time I was there, there was a mix of Mk IVs and Mk VIs, and since I was only 10 the first difference I noticed was the pole did not rotate with the doors on the old ones. It's kind of strange, why does it do that? And what was the point of designing...

Well, Horizons closed after GE discontinued sponsorship. Disney only reopened when WoM was closing for the renovation into Test Track. That would have only left 2 attractions on the whole east side of Future World. I think Spaceship Earth needs updated. However if they rehab it they need...
