I don't think this is accurate. A Disney water park seasonal pass just came back and that does include both parks but if you buy a one-day water park ticket it's just for the water park you're at. You can't park hop to the other water park.

Definitely correct. Less demand and they took advantage of the cooler months to shut down one and refurbish it. And then they would switch to the other one and refurbish that one.

5 weeks is too short. Let's pick a random year pre-covid. 2015. Blizzard was closed from January 4th through March 14th Typhoon was closed October 4th to January 2nd 2016. It was way more than 5 weeks for each water park. This was a typical pattern up to and including 2018

Well even in the Golden age October through March there was only one Park. Roughly one would close from October to December and the other would close from January to March. And then from April through September they were both open. We might still be heading back in that direction. We'll see...

Sorry for the bump but yes! This guy was a show by himself, so high energy and so much fun to watch. I think his name was Dave but couldn't swear to it. Having said that I have not seen him in a really long time. :(. I miss his antics.
