Just got a boarding group today at the 1pm drop. I knew it was coming, parked myself near Club Cool and started refreshing the app at 12:58, I’m not too sure what all the fuss is about, the app worked perfectly.
Once you accept WDW requires a tiny bit of planning (and unfortunately a bit more...
After reading the last few pages, all I can say to everyone is that my favoured source for news is objectively true and unbiased and your preferred source of news is fake and untrue...
As for Chapek, he’s undoubtedly a lame duck at this stage. He’s still there to soak up all the heat for the...
Here in Northern Ireland we have 10 active cases last time I checked (5 in hospital/ 5 based in care homes). Covid is obviously a very serious issue, but there is definitely an argument to be had that disproportionate response to it in less affected parts of the UK are fraying a lot of nerves.
Perhaps anecdotally, as an international traveler, closed parks are definitely worse than photos with pathetic crowd numbers. Even the appearance of things running normally goes a long way.
The second the mask restrictions are lifted (no objection to them at all, I'm just a pasty Northern...
There has to be a fudge factor built in to their current outlook. In the best case scenario, the parks stay open, take a bit of a financial hit but show they can still operate their business. At least with this approach they can hope for a very slight return to normality late summer/ early...
The MCU is more relevant than the Sequel Trilogy, that much is clear at this point. But that in of itself is a damning indictment of Lucasfilm, they had the world at their feet in 2012 when they announced the new movies, they had almost unlimited fan hype and almost unlimited money... and they...
I watched it last night after a long day of work, I'm going to watch it again with my brother and dad tomorrow and hopefully I'll be in a better postion to provide a clear assessment, but here is a quick scribble of thoughts:
I didn't absolutely hate TROS, but the good parts of the movie were...
I've been to WDW 12 times, so I'm well aware I'm guilty of sacrilege when I say that;"Never have I ever had a Dole Whip".
Don't worry though, I'll go out of my way to have one when I (finally) head back to WDW this coming June :D
44 days until the start of my first solo trip!
I've been to WDW about 12 times before with my family, but this will be my first time going alone (never mind the fact that its my first time dealing with all this fancy Magicband, Fastpass+ and MDE shenanigans)
Its amazing really, since 2011 the DHS (in my opinion) has gone from one of my favourite places in the entire world right down to "meh, its probably not even worth visiting during my trip next year".
I am beyond disappointed with Disney right now. Yes the new Mickey ride looks cool, and yes...
I'm an international traveller and I usually spend between 2-3 weeks on vacation in Orlando touring WDW and *ahem* the other theme parks. Attractions like the ones you listed above are crucial in making WDW worth visiting, don't get me wrong, I love E-Tickets attractions, but I don't want to...
As a Brit, I've never been enamoured with the UK pavilion- especially the imitation fish and chips. Furthermore, the area only really covers one specific part of the country (Southern England). I'd love to see a bit more representation for the rest of the UK- us Northern Irish, Scots and Welsh...
I'm a fellow 90's kid who LOVED Pokemon and I still occasionally play it if I'm in a nostalgic mood. However, I agree with your sentiment, this particular app has no staying power due to how bare-bones it is.
