Just watched Lilo and Stitch (finally) and it was very cute! Even got me feeling a bit emotional by the end. The craziest thing to me is that it hit a billion, and is still the only billion dollar movie this year. If the IP was never a Disney animated film first, that had decades of nostalgia...

I hate to use the word... but synergy. Do they not realize the synergy that Disney leverages within the different sectors of the company?

You're right. I am absolutely sure that Avatar and Zootopia 2 will fail at the box office.

And likely by a large margin once Disney’s later releases come out.

I have this vision of Disney looking at the cost to run Jungle Cruise, the training, the amount of CM's, and it certainly makes you wonder if they consider it...
