I have a feeling illuminations will be back in the future. I also feel Disney should be able to come up with a strong storyline related to unity and coming together (examples of that throughout the world) that can could really work for Epcot. I wonder if the one remaining shell barge is going to be set up in the center of the lagoon where the earth gland was and shells will only be shot from that barge, but maybe two at a time in certain instances

I wonder if they will just use the four smaller barges that they have used In past illuminations tags for the shells for the New Years tag this year. The smaller barges (for shells) used to be tied to the fountain barges used during illuminations.

I think Reflections of Earth took about 2 years to develop, but I believe that the thought process behind the story was being worked on in Don's mind a few years before the official start of development of the show. I could be wrong, but this is my understanding.
