I don't think it's the water, for us it's walking around in wet clothes. I dislike wet shorts.

That's how our boat was last week the first time we went, then the second wasn't so close to the water. But that first time we were bumping the side rails and I thought the water was going to start coming in. Some of us moved to the other side to distribute the weight better.

I rode it yesterday about 1130 am. I was second from the back row and the floor of the boat was soaked. My feet got wet because of the puddles. I was kind of surprised because I figured that was going to e addressed in refurb. I didn't get wet but the way the front row screamed after the drop...
