Nope WDI screwed it up so bad there is no estimation or date, basically all of the Toontown "refresh" is a massive screw up. Section by section the whole thing is basically being redone...again
Rise is in such a pathetic shape now. Motion bases for the ITS have been turned off, the guns haven't been functional in over 2 years, the ride vehicles looked trashed, and general throughout the whole queue props have been trashed and graffitied. Yet they still charge $25 for ILL, with none of...
So I've been asking around about how this happened. The answers I've gotten points to DL management forcing the show to go on despite push back from the entertainment techs. It seems to be a maintenance failure, but one due to poor staffing and untenable timelines forced from DL Management...
That is what happens when most of WDI is made up most of people just working project to project, not being an official long time employee. Also when almost none of them have in-park experience and just come out of design schools or other industries.
2/3 guns have been off since Sept 2021, All...
Had Carrie Fisher not passed, it was going to be Leia as the hologram. Also R2 and C-3PO were supposed to be in room right before the hologram where the map is, but $$$.
From what I've heard it's really cool, but Ive also heard due to where things are placed, multiple things in the queue will probably be broken or trashed by guests within the first few weeks. So I'd say go within that first week if you want to see it as it was intended.
They are tilted forward. There are lifts under the back 2 wheels that lean the car forward. It's not a lot, but does create a bit of the sensation of going over the waterfall. The same system exists in the WDW version, but knowing that WDW's maintenance teams are pretty bad, Im guessing they...
Do I know for 100%? No, as anything could change, but I'm 98% sure. The Cast Sneak peaks they are going to be doing in the days leading up to the 27th are going to be using VQ. Considering Cast Previews are always test runs for how ops wants to handle things. I'd bet a large amount of money in...
I've been told it's the exact same cartoon as Florida.
There will be no soft openings. The WDI show team has faced multiple set backs, and are stressed to even meet the Jan 27th deadline.
That is not what is faulting the cannons. The faults are coming from mechanical elements in the cannons themselves, the ride vehicles have nothing to do with them.
Not much hope though. Only DL's few ride engineers are trying to fix it, they are getting little to no support from WDW's ride engineers.
To both of these posts. They were called the pod rolled up doors, and they were installed. However they were removed very early on due to them faulting a...
