Disney Genie and Genie+ at Walt Disney World

I backed out of tons of potential LL choices before the final selection page because the time had changed. I also made and canceled several LL's when I decided (hoped) that I could find something that better fit our plans. The one time (out of six days) that my ILL changed times after...

Disney Genie and Genie+ at Walt Disney World

Since you all are discussing DHS on Easter Sunday, 4/17, here's how my family's (Mom, Dad, teen) day went: 7:00 am: booked SDD for 11:10 am. 7:12 am: booked RoTR for 3:15 pm (refresh, refresh, refresh and wait for times to repopulate). 7:45 am: futile trip to the Contemporary for the announced...

    Hotel Slim Pickins

When that happens, click on one of the "Special deal" resorts, then change the radio tab at the top to "Rooms." Click again on "View All Resorts" and the rack rates will show up.

    Purchasing Genie+

Agree that the system may be repricing your tickets. But note, the price for Genie+ is closer to $16 per day/ per person with tax. So your cost to add would be $384 even with your original tickets.

What do you think about the 7DMT?

My family uses the ride as a chance to outdo one another on the associated ride video. After many trips, we know that you have to speed up your actions in real time so that they make sense in the slo-mo version.

Trip Report (Completed)We tried to walk but you walk like a sloth.

Watching this closely. I am tentatively planning to chase the extended hours if they switch for our week (the one following yours (post-Easter)). Would be an automatic change if they add MK extended hours on a different night the same week.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Northern Virginia. We are about 50/50 mask free in outdoor group settings, but everyone wears them going into stores, restaurants, and other businesses. Schools still require students to wear them full time, so that probably adds to the normalcy factor.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

Just home from the grocery store. Still 100% mask usage here, even though mask mandates are long gone, the stores merely "encourage masks for the unvaccinated," and our local vaccination rates are soaring. It's part of our common experience.

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

While mask mandates may be dropping away, many places are far from being mask-free zones. Here in Virginia, most businesses still require them, and even places that have relaxed standards to "masks encouraged for the unvaccinated" still see most patrons masked up. Vaccine rates are high here...

News Disney mask policy at Walt Disney World theme parks

So interesting to see the different perspectives. Here in Northern Virginia, all mitigations, including mask mandates, have ended for vaccinated individuals. Our case rates are extremely low. And our population is highly vaccinated. Yet, I have not yet seen ANYONE in any store without a mask...
