does anyone ride the astro orbitor?

It is a great place for pictures if you can time it right to get the castle in the background. Tom Sawyer’s is a great place for hide and seek. Give everybody a radio and go.

    Alligators captured at Disney doubles

My daughter and I went kayak fishing through Florida one spring break. We saw signs warning of gators but never saw a gator. The fishing was great and we were always alone on the lakes. Now I think I know why! We had a great trip and luckily had no incidents.

    A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

We are a Disney family. We enjoy Uni periodically but we feel more connected to Disney. I mean I'm not reading any Uni forum during my free time. While brain shakers are popular even with my kids, they don't hit on the emotional level that WDW rides do.

    A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

I took my family to WDW 8 out of 9 years starting in 2002 always staying for a week or more. Back then 8 days in a moderate with 9 day park hopper for 4 was around $2500 base. By the end around $3500. Still sort of reasonable. But going now I would estimate to be over $4000. I just can't pull...

    A Spirited 15 Rounds ...

I took my daughter to Universal For her high school senior spring break 2015. We camped at Bill Frederick 10$ a night and spent 3 days at the parks. She wanted to see Harry Potter. We had a blast and our only major expense was park tickets and a sit down meal each day. (Not including the fishing...

    Fix or replace the monorail

With monorail expansion being so expensive, is it possible to build the rail at ground level in undeveloped areas to decrease cost? Can the trains navigate mild inclines?

We don't talk about Animal Kingdom enough...

Is flights of wonder still going? We love that show. It's simple but for my family it is a must do. We also always try to get a second floor window seat at Yak andYeti so we can people watch while we eat. Even better if a parade comes by. We also spend a good bit of time looking at the tree. So...

    spoiled by disney parks

Me too. We always had Carowinds here but we stopped going after our Disney trips started. No one had the energy to go. We were just " blah"

    Biggest Disney Pet Peeve

For me it is the preroom exiting. You wait in line to get in, watch the pre show , then the doors open and it is a free for all. I always get separated from my family because I refuse to push my way through. I wish there was a way for order of entry to be order of exit. ( and so many rides have...

    Blizzard Beach vs Typhoon Lagoon

The question is are you traveling with small children. We like both parks but when my kids were little they loved the play area at blizzard beach with the iceberg crossing and the zip line and the small tube slide for kids all in 1 area. Plus my youngest (I think she was 5 or 6 at the time) made...

    What you miss the most?

That's it. I relax because I know if something is wrong, Disney will do everything they can to fix it. Also I miss spending a whole week with my kids where everyone is on board and no one is trying to go off on their own. For some reason conflict evaporates at Disney. Maybe it's because we all...

Just got to wdw..what's up with all the scooter's

(((((((((((((. I've been meaning to look into options just to be prepared - wheelchair, scooter, etc. I would feel awful trying to drag him around the parks in pain. We have no need to cut lines or anything like that. As it is, the plan is to take it slow, stop at every country at F&W LOL...

    People trashing the parks

By the way, I'm terrible with names. In case you hadn't noticed

    People trashing the parks

Push, the living statue in EPCOT, the walking vine in AK, these are important details that guests remember. Wish they would come back.
