For a families first Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World, are there any special traditions that could make the day extra magical?
I know that on Independence Day, Magic Kingdom will often have a flyover and EPCOT will have Mickey and friends dressed in patriotic gear along with special...
Ummm...your assertion assumes that there are an infinite number of slots available. The reason it is a lottery is because everyone who tries your method does not necessarily get into virtual queue, because there are limited slots, but more to my point, my issue is that those who are using your...
Good for you. Considering that the 7 am virtual queues typically fill up in seconds, and that only a few get into the first few boarding groups, it is very much based on luck. You can deny that all you want, but the fact remains that there is no reason that those who are in later boarding...
How fast you are on the app has very little to do with it as I have seen on multiple occasions that due to their servers being overwhelmed, clicking join queue at exactly 7 am or 1 pm often will not work and takes a couple of extra attempts to get in, thus it is more like a lottery in that luck...
I was at Epcot before 1 pm because my boarding party had not been called and that is my point.
I just learned that they already do this for extra magic hours ayhow...if you get into a virtual queue at 1 pm that has not been called by 6pm, you can still get an additional virtual queue for any...
That logic is flawed. The only people who are not eligible to make the VQs go much faster are those who get unluckly enough to not have their boarding group called by 1 pm. So you're saying that the guest experience for those who get unlucky enough to not be in one of the first boarding groups...
After experiencing it first hand today, I am convinced that restricting guests to 1 virtual queue at a time is not only unfair but also not a smart business practice.
After being lucky enough to win the 7 am virtual queue lottery for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, my group was not called to board...

To me the Dinoland debate makes clear a glaring problem Disney has...despite 3 attempts, they have been unable to create a story about dinosaurs that the general audience falls in love with.
The 2000 movie DINOSAUR which the ride at Animal Kingdom is loosely based on, was in my opinion one of...

The cheese danish has been missing from WDW since well before the pandemic. McDonald's briefly brought a good one back a few months ago, but your point about the filling is partly why it's sad to not have them at WDW, because in my opinion it was possibly the best danish ever made!
Years ago, one of my favorite breakfast items that could be found at most Disney Resorts was their cheese danish. For several years, the danish offerings have included fruit options but I have not seen the cheese ones for a very long time. Wondering if anyone has any insight on what may have...
Was considering having dinner at The Riviera and from videos I have seen, it looks like there is a very nice view of EPCOT's fireworks from there but they don't seem to play the music on their speakers for some strange reason.
