Wow just watched the 30th video. The new hotel just totally dominates the whole area. Did this on our first visit in 1998! Thought it was unique. Wife didn't do it. Didn't think much of the rest of the park Did it again last year and wife AND kids were not interested! It was great to relive it. Although seemed a bit more rushed and busy this time, as all the parks did. Shame.

This was always my thoughts on a common sense approach. Speed and cost. Use land that's already free or doing very little. I would think the updates they do to ride films are an easy option to keep interest up on star tours. Ideally you would ride the shuttle to emerge in Star Wars land.

Looking at this another way would the earlier closure times allow more time to work on soarin? Is the idea to steer guests over the other side of future world, so they can make a bit more noise on the west side?

I guess times do change we spent hours in the different pavilions in 1998. Couldn't wait to take the kids in 2008 a lot of the interactive stuff was still there but it seemed busier and queues everywhere. Last year there seems very very little to do, and nothing new?
