    California Grill or ‘Ohana?

Follow up! My ADR window opened today and I ended up going with ‘Ohana as I just love the atmosphere at the Poly so much. I asked my mom about where she would like a Mother’s Day dinner on me and she actually picked Chefs de France so I booked that for our Epcot day and ‘Ohana for our MK day...

    Early Kona Breakfast?

Thanks everyone. Is it even worth going to early entry? Since we are staying at POP we would likely have to skip any sort of breakfast all together if we want to make it to MK for early entry it seems. Maybe iust Uber from POP to Poly, have Kona, browse the Boutiki and then monorail to MK once...

    Early Kona Breakfast?

Anyone who has been to Kona Cafe for breakfast would you say it’s possible to get or MK for early entry if we make an ADR for breakfast opening at Kona? I really want to try Kona for breakfast and whilst I love the Polynesian I can’t bring myself to pay $700/night to stay there. We’re staying at...

    WDW Dolphin?

They charge resort fees. Just something to consider as that’s one of the few hotel money-grabs that Disney hasn’t jumped on board with yet.

    California Grill or ‘Ohana?

Thank you all your the comments and opinions! I’m still leaning toward CG if I can get a reservation however the comment about heading right from MK got me thinking as we will likely go right from there. We are staying at POP so it seems silly to go all the way back there just to change and then...

What is the most over-rated and under-rated restaurants in WDW?

This post interests me as I’m in the process of planning a trip to WDW for the first time since 1993 and ‘Ohana looks so good from the vlogs I’ve watched about it. Why do you feel it is overrated? Is the food bad or just overhyped? I generally like Polynesian type food and ‘Ohana looks to have...

    California Grill or ‘Ohana?

Yikes that does not sound pleasant. Though CG is now prix fixe so that should alleviate the low rent appetizer-only people as it’s not possible to order a la carte anymore.

    California Grill or ‘Ohana?

Thank you all. I would say price isn’t an issue in this case as the difference for the two of us would be less than $100. That’s not a deal breaker. I didn’t realize you could return for the fireworks at CG! That’s a nice perk which will alleviate some of the stress picking the perfect time...

    California Grill or ‘Ohana?

Hi everyone. I'm new to the boards and haven’t been to WDW since I was 11 years old in 1993! I have a mother-son trip planned for May with my mum and wanted to schedule a Mother’s Day dinner at one of the nicer restaurants. It will be the week after Mother’s Day but it will be one of my gifts...
