Alright you guys have convinced me it probably doesn’t make sense to do a 5th gate. Yet, at least. Villains will add some capacity to with the additional footprint. Maybe by what 10,000 a day?
And I’m also so upset about ROA. I feel like everyone is just trying to convince themselves it’s not a terrible idea and accept it. But it’s a terrible idea.
I will yield that Disney should utilize some unused space first. Like Animation courtyard. But again, WHY on earth don’t they? It’s such a waste in the park.
My main gripe is they need to alleviate some of this overcrowding problem.
On the flip side a truly great idea could revitalize the entire resort and attract more attendance and reassert Disney’s dominance after Epic Universe.
Is that your actual opinion or just a talking point you like to repeat. I’ve heard that, but I disagree. They take zero advantage of the land they have for any kind of expansions and the parks are so overcrowded that it’s making the experience worse and worse.
There is nothing they’re doing that is magically making the existing parks “better.” They’re just replacing existing stuff with new stuff.
And the parks are becoming sickeningly overcrowded.
That would be cool. Like the body slithering in and out of an opening in the wall and then you turn the corner and it strikes at you. Later you see it try to eat you as you dive down instead of the boulder scene. Or maybe the boulder scene happens and lands on top of it!
If Disneyland didn’t go out of their way to keep their ROA, then perhaps I’d feel differently but they did and they made it work. It feels like they just don’t care enough to retain a certain beauty of the park and part of its iconic identity.
I’m down for a cars ride, but the whole ROA in...
Can you believe this? We’re all talking about the removal of ROA from WDW like it’s not some crazy idea that will ruin the park forever for a cars ride and a nice entrance to Villains land.
So stupid.
The reason I thought villains could be the thing to get cut is that it’s the only thing with no real development yet. It’s just a blue sky painting. No ground work done, no attractions announce. It’s a nice thought but we’ve seen more concrete evidence of other things happening.
I feel like...
