You know, I've been knocking around these forums for the better part of a decade and never, and I'm thinking back to the General Grizz/Save Disney days, can I remember such a polarizing topic. I. Am. Stunned. Highly entertained, but stunned.
Just my two cents...
Loved Avatar. With it's conservation theme and breathtaking visuals, I think the Avatar universe is a great DAK addition. Can't wait for this to open. Harry who? Can't wait to see some concept art, and get my picture made with Neytiri and Jake Sully. SHOCKED that...
Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Love Händel (fictitious rock band from P&F). I'd line up for this. *Everyone* "You Snuck Your Way Right Into My Heart!"
If the theme is Mickey Mouse as a magician, wouldn't it make sense for him to pull a Rabbit out of his hat once the Princesses have moved. Seems like an obvious place for an Oswald M&G. A dedicated location on Main Street U.S.A. where you know for certain you can meet Oswald the Lucky Rabbit...
This may be a silly question, but does anyone know if the chickens from World of Motion will remain in the Barnstormer once it is rethemed? Not a huge deal, but I hate to see threads to classic attractions, no matter how thin, be broken. Thanks in advance.
Hook and Smee are far from forgotten, I see them every morning on Disney Junior in Jake and the Neverland Pirates. For better or worse, as long as the trend of using classic characters in Disney Junior programming continues, the classics won't be forgotten anytime soon.
Obscure character M&Gs I'd like to see:
Jim Hawkins, B.E.N. & John Silver ("Beware the Cyborg") from Treasure Planet
Gurgi from The Black Cauldron
Rescue Ranger Chip, Rescue Ranger Dale & Gadget Hackwrench
Uncle Scrooge, Launchpad McQuack & Darkwing Duck
TaleSpin Baloo and Louie
Doug...
I always visited with my parents, now for me visiting WDW as an adult is completely different than visiting as a child. I finally can go and show and do what I want to do. I totally agree with stlbobby, it's important to visit a restaurant you've never visited before (we tried the Sci-Fi...
We really liked Kim Possible when we visited, but agree it's really not something you can do on multiple trips (unless you didn't do all the quests in all the countries). I welcome this NexGen initiative and what it's going to bring in the future. These games are awesome, especially for...
We stayed at Saratoga Springs in January and found a nice selection of resort specific merch; however, being a pin collector I was disappointed to find no Saratoga Springs pins for sale (God bless eBay). The CM on duty said the pins were on order, but was skeptical due to the 'One Disney' trend.
I got to be on the bee back in the day, now that was fun, old school Walt Disney World. On our last visit we didn't even ride (the rain and two cranky three year-olds played a part in our decision) and my wife, who was on her first visit, was a little disappointed. Do you still drive through...
This project is being done by Disney Toon Studios and has John Lasseter's support (good enough for me). But I thought this was the type of project for which Pixar Canada was created, eh.
I agree. The Tink and the other Fairies should be at DAK. Pixie Hollow would be a nice little addition, and besides, aren't fairies mythical creatures?
