We’ve just filmed a NEW tour of the Villas at Disneyland Hotel

Excellent video! Thanks for posting it. I liked the tour of the grounds from parking to check-in to getting to the DVC tower. Helps me orient myself when we come in by car. We also have a Deluxe Garden Studio booked in a week. Looking forward to staying there too.

Villas at Disneyland Hotel opening September 2023

Yes. Taxes when it opened. Grand californian DVC is grandfathered in to 2000 rates. I think the hotel side charges the current rates.

Thank you for responding. Maybe you read it that way, but I wasn't angry. I was just pointing out that, in my mind, there are 15+ DVC resorts. And a DVC contract gives you access to all of the DVC properties. There are 3 basic DVC contracts (full, partial, 1 resort only) If you can reserve...

do you always try to gaslight people? Please be civil.

It’s a contract that can ONLY be used at VDH. It can’t be used at any other resorts, cruises or any 3rd party DVC partners. It comes with no perks either. So, essentially, it’s just a VDH contract. Calling it a DVC contract is misinformation.

$185 is way too high for a VDH contract. You're trying to compare a DVC contract with a VDH contract. This is apples and oranges. It doesn't matter what the DVC contract would cost, you're not buying a DVC contract anymore, just a contract at Villas at Disneyland Hotel.

News Disneyland announces Limited-Time Kids' special ticket offer for early 2024

The economy means different things to different people. I remember being in my 20s, working in the early 2000s. As I was just getting out of college, single and in a new job, I had so much more money than I ever had before. I was loving being able to buy whatever I wanted. The economy was great...

I get that. I tried for a VGC reservation, couldn’t get it as it was booked for the time I wanted in February. I was able to snag a VDH reservation instead. I'll have to pay about $1,000 extra in taxes for this VDH reservation. I'm looking every day to trade my VDH nights for VGC nights...

The room WILL be booked. Doesn’t matter if it’s Saratoga points… whoever rents the room will pay the tax and give Anaheim income.

Does the Dvc Rental Store give out renters phone numbers?

I would contact the DVC Rental Store and tell them about this owner. This owner is trying to make money by not paying the DVC Rental Store their fees In a future contract. This owner is using DVC as their own business and should be banned.

    Didn’t those close?

Anyone else choosing to drive these days?

We're from Buffalo too. We went last year Dec 10-24. We drove. It was nice to have a car there. Buffalo had that 7 feet snowstorm Dec 23. The airport was closed. The only way we were able to get home was driving. Thankfully we did. It was hard to drive with most of the roads closed on Dec 24...

    DVC Member Annual Passes.

I could see Disney eventually making Annual passes unavailable most of the time, except for special events, like we are seeing right now. But these could be far and few between, like once every 2 years. But also make them available immediately for new direct DVC purchases through Disney. This...

It would also cost a bunch to extend the monorail to your house.

    MagicBand+ announced

If I wasn’t doing okay financially, I wouldn’t even CONSIDER DisneyWorld. $35 bands are a no brainer for the additional fun. My daughter is 14. This is the first time we’ve been able to take her to DisneyWorld. It’s not a vacation for the poor.
