Pixar Pier is obviously the pinnacle of everything modern Disney is about. Obviously, it's the best thing ever. The color red really helped to redefine the area that was once a dull blue. Can I get my job at Disney now? ;)

So, I think it fits better in Disneyland, but I think for crowding purposes, it's much better in DCA. I just hope they bring it back out for summer. I love the Lion King, but I don't know how that celebration will pan out. I wonder if they'll try to somehow bring back some of the ride floats...

I think Disney chose well with their phased opening. It will really help with the crowd problems. Disney is smart and I am glad they've learned from what Universal has done and from their own issues with openings. This could be a promising way to take care of the problem.

My thoughts exactly. It's extremely early for press like this, especially with no officially announced opening. I'm starting to see how this might work now. I've even thought since the land was first announced that they may actually take a page from the Universal book and do unannounced...
