Pixar Pier is obviously the pinnacle of everything modern Disney is about. Obviously, it's the best thing ever. The color red really helped to redefine the area that was once a dull blue. Can I get my job at Disney now? ;)
See, this is some weird gray area though. Sure, Keenz says they aren't wagons. But, come on. We all know they are, if not in name, then definitely in style. I don't care if it's push or pull. If it looks like a wagon, is shaped like a wagon...it's a wagon. I hope Disney decides to define...
Thank God. I understand the plight of the parent all too well as I have 3 children including twins that we took at a young age. So yeah, I get that sometime you need a double stroller or whatever. But I just got back from a trip where multiple people had wagons. I thought those were not...
I've really grown to appreciate Knott's as an adult. They've upped their game in recent years and become a really wonderful park. But despite all the new, it's the older stuff that really has the charm. The ghost town area, for instance, is probably one of the best uses of theming in any...
But...they aren't going to milk the thala sirens on the spot at the milk stand? No freshly milked banthas either? I thought this was supposed to be authentic.
So, I think it fits better in Disneyland, but I think for crowding purposes, it's much better in DCA. I just hope they bring it back out for summer. I love the Lion King, but I don't know how that celebration will pan out. I wonder if they'll try to somehow bring back some of the ride floats...
I think Disney chose well with their phased opening. It will really help with the crowd problems. Disney is smart and I am glad they've learned from what Universal has done and from their own issues with openings. This could be a promising way to take care of the problem.
My thoughts exactly. It's extremely early for press like this, especially with no officially announced opening. I'm starting to see how this might work now. I've even thought since the land was first announced that they may actually take a page from the Universal book and do unannounced...
Let me put it this way...no, I don't think the claims are over the top. Are you familiar with Star Wars fandom? Combine those people who don't normally go to Disneyland but will for this with the Disneyland fandom that has to see everything first. I expect crowds similar to the 60th...
When this ride opened, it was possibly if not definitely the most technologically innovative attraction in existence. I was one of those rare people who rode the ride so many times as a kid that I could tell you the differences between the yellow, purple, and blue doors as well as some of the...
I had the pleasure I guess of riding them once or twice when I was a kid. They were...sort of fun and nice in theory, but I will say now the same thing I said back then...I miss the Peoplemovers. Rocket rods had to stop too many times for turns to really make them as fun as they could...
I've found the statements you've suggested to be accurate if slightly exaggerated . Summer is now my favorite time to go. It's not off season empty, but with all the attractions open and long hours, it's surprising how much you can get done. You go for the first 3-4 hours of the day, break...
I don't really care if a specific IP is used for the area. But, I would like to see an amazing attraction. Honestly, I recently saw the Crystal Grotto boat ride at Shanghai Disney and thought that would be an interesting way to use the old motor boat area, especially if they could plus it up a...
