I stayed in the Royal Pacific Presidential suite twice. It’s quite nice. The shower in the master suite is the size of a standard room 😂

Not sure the last time I ate in the actual parks…I always go to City Walk. Toothsome used to be great pre-covid but the last few times they seemed to fall off as well. Hard Rock is decent for what it is. I eat at Sal’s back at the hotel a lot too 🤷‍♂️.

First night is your deposit (per room), rest is paid when you check out.

I’ve also brought a streaming box that works fine. You can also plug a flash/external hard drive with content into the tv and use its software to view any content you being along.

I was there in Aug…I’d say 20% of people were wearing masks. It was mostly maskless.

If you want to be more in walking distance I’d say Royal Pacific. For just the best hotel, I’d say the Portafino. Good food options, best pools of the 3 (even if the hot tub doesn’t work 50% of the time), and very pretty in general. The Hard Rock is OK, but I don’t like the layout.

I always stay at the EP hotels, even in “off” seasons. I cannot imagine ever going to Universal without it. It just allows you so much more flexibility and less stress. I tell everyone it’s worth it🤷‍♂️

I visited at the end of August and found all the posted wait times to be wildly off. A posted 2 hour wait was around 45 minutes. Additionally, having the single ride line so far up in the queue was insane to me, as well as not having the ability to know if it was taking single riders or not...
