We have extremely good quality tap water in the UK, so bottled water is kind of unnecessary. I think they take advantage of the luxury theory and bump up the price. In the rest of Europe, however, it's dirt-cheap - probably because the tap water's not as good. ETA: smk - your signature is so...

Bottled water and snacks are about a quarter of the price in the US compared with the UK (water, especially, is like in Europe only with the exchange rate being on our side!). Please, please, please do not bring them with you, or ship them, it would be insane!!!! We don't even bring shampoo...

Yes, I get that, but I wish they could roll it somehow - first 3 weeks one year, week 2-3-4 the next, throughout Jan and Feb so it's not the same week. We are creatures of habit, after all.
