Can someone explain to me how you have a ride dedication and press event/grand opening and the attraction not officially open immediately after. Was there a delay? Just curious why we have to wait until May 28th for this attraction to officially open?

I guess the New Fantasyland and eventually the Avatarland costumes will use this facility since they said to accommodate the resort's expansion. Does 2 new lands really count as a Disney World resort expansion? I guess you could include the recently built resort hotels; i.e. AoA and the DVC...

I like the idea of this. It's looks great! However, the timing kind of stinks. During Spring Break season and into summer, and just after a price increase. Now you have to pay a premium to see walls, tarp, and a castle that doesn't looks it's best.

This is not the response I hear from first time visitors. What I typically hear is why on earth would anyone go there to wait in those long lines? I felt like a herd of cattle. What's the draw, what's the allure of the place? That's what I typically hear. Not saying I share that opinion...

I seriously doubt AMC would pack up and leave. They just sank a ton of money in upgrading the theater to Fork and Screen. Walking away from that investment because of a short period of parking trouble doesn't make much sense at all.

Good point. It is a people eater and creates less wait times at popular attractions. I could see the day when this attraction becomes seasonal until they decided to green light another project to replace it. Or, in TDO talk, until they rasie enough money to green light another project.
