    Hey , I saw a post in which you mentioned renting DVC points. It inspired me to look into it. Ive signed up on mouseowners.com and have read all their required information, and I believe I understand how it works. Have you rented points? Any suggestions for a first timer? Thank you in advance for any help.

    We rent from dvcrentalstore.com . I usually submit my request at the 11 mos. mark, but they haven't been able to confirm until 7 mos. out...which is fine. I don't have to do the $91 or so deposit that the other one requires before they secure your rental.

    Other than that, it is pretty much as if you made the reservation...it is in your name and you're a 'guest' of the owner...going through dvcrentalstore is like using a travel agent. You'll get your confirmation number and will be able to see your vacation reservation as soon as they confirm your deposit. At 180 + 10 days out, you make your ADRs as always.
