Thank you for your reponse..it's not that I didn't know who you were Steve...it's that I didn't know off the top of my head that Steve = WDWmagic, I'm new here.
I did have posts on here that crossed the line and it's not those I take issue with, you're correct on all of your points...there...
Not just mine guys... if I inadvertently posted something against the rules and it got deleted..fine..so be it...but there are plenty of other examples...look at what's left!! (almost nothing)
So no topic is permitted? Nothing is fair game? (Apparently not).... and I'm not even talking...
I think that the mods are doing their members a huge disservice. If people want to look into offsite housing, then sure you would think this is the place to discuss it...but I guess not..as any threads related to it are vaporized. Sure, I've posted in this forum and they've been deleted...
Because it seems ludicrous to me to put up a forum to discuss offsite housing options..then when people start discussing them their posts are deleted. Whatever the reason, it's censorship! People need to know that their posts are getting vaporized....so why even bother putting up the forum in...
I've watched as 5 posts in this forum over the past few weeks just downright disappear that had anything to do with people staying at offsite vacation properties. Why even bother putting up a forum when people begin to discuss an offsite vacation property...then someone comes along and deletes...
Apparently if you post anything in this forum that isn't talking about how great all star vacation homes is...it's going to be deleted, so don't even bother posting. I've watched as numerous posts mysteriously disappear...
Apparently I should post that "I love All Star" and how great they are...
We went on COP on our first trip the last time, in the 2 prior trips we didn't even realize it was there, and walked past it dozens of times! I know everyone seems real sentimental about it, but as a newcomer, we got off of it and said, wow, what a complete waste of time THAT just was! It also...
We LOVE Cirque du Soleil...have seen 5 different shows all here in Chicago on tour or in Las Vegas though, haven't been to the one in Disney yet though! These people are SO amazing, couldn't even conceive of being gifted enough to be in one of these shows, heck, I can hardly even touch my toes...
Or.....you can dine in one of the MGM restaurants while in the park for dinner...and they will give you special reserved seating tickets to Disney, eliminating the need to arrive hours in advance and camp out for a seat!! We like Hollywoord & Vine...we've also eaten in the Italian restaurant...
In general we've had pretty good dining experiences at Disney / Epcot.. but we usually eat breakfast at home in the AM...snack through lunch..and then eat a nice dinner somewhere.
The one restaurant I can recall not liking at all on our last trip was the Rose & Crown in Epcot...we thought...
They need a sponsor to open the pavilion? Do all of them have sponsors just to stay up and running? Doesn't the park itself act as a sponsor... where does all the $$ from tickets go?
Someone else had mentioned (I thought) that the countries themselves were somehow funded by their host...
It's been closed our last 3 visits to Epcot...kind of a shame to have a whole building with attractions just sitting there closed! Are they rehabbing it or anything?
Makes no sense to just leave a whole building in a place like Epcot on permanent semi-closure...why would they do this?
