Yeah, it's such a great program and saved me so many times. The problem with removable media like memory cards in cameras is they are small, so if you erase something and use the media to take new pictures, it's more likely the new pictures will overwrite the erased material quicker. One other option you might want to try if you didn't already with Recuva is to change the search setting from pictures to all files. It's possible that the file's extension (.jpeg) may have been damaged and Recuva doesn't recognize it as a picture, but the file may still be recoverable. If you run the scan, switch to advanced mode after scanning, you can click on files and get previews of them.
Other than that, sorry it didn't work for you, I know how frustrating it is to lose files like that.

Unfortunately, it recovered pictures from my previous trip, and not my most recent one which had the picture I was looking for. I tried the deep scan, but no luck. I'm guessing my most recently deleted pics are permanently gone. It was worth a try. Thanks again!
