I honestly never cared about the NBA Experience, heck I forgot about this existing until today.

I was willing to say I didn't understand this going in but that I wasn't the demographic (I don't watch basketball) which might be why.
Having said that, the only thing shocking about this to me is how quickly they gave up on it considering weeks/months it was actually open.
I never dreamed they wouldn't at least prop it up for the first year (of operation).

Now that the deed is done the person that spear headed / green lit the NBA experience project should be informed their services are no longer needed and shown the exit door before they can do anymore damage.

There’s probably a top ten list of dumb moves somewhere on these boards. If not, it might be therapeutic to see.
For me, while there are other things I care far more about (EPCOT), building this is up there near the top. Bad concept from the start.

Why is this “on” Chapek? Should he have instructed Team Disney Orlando to turn down the NBA’s offer to build something?
