I like that name. Certainly better than any of the choices in that survey that surfaced a while back. Although I'd also be happy with Disney Hollywoodland.

Or movie songs for that matter. Just another way to get away from the studios theme.
DHS also did a great job with appropriate Christmas music of the eras as well as the look.
Somebody in the Parks has a good eye and ear for the redesign of the DHS public areas. It was just a shame they used the phrase "Downtown L.A." for Grand Ave; that description is misleading.

I love the thought that went into this. It all sounds great. Also the main entrance music is now being used in Downtown Disney at Disneyland.

I am happy to hear new music still set in the classic Hollywood era being added. The way some parts of the park are going, it's good to see signs the old Hollywood theme will stick around, at least in some areas. As DHS starts going in the direction of different lands in other areas, there's no reason Hollywood Boulevard can't be like that park's version of Main Street USA.

Loving the new music; it seems livelier and blends each area together well. My only hope is that the music from the cue area for Tower of Terror remains as it was (if it even still plays).

What about the cluster that is currently known as Animation Courtyard? Did they just keep the same music?

Ahh...But, what about Disney Transportation from the Hotel to DHS? That's nothing but movie theme songs...

DHS always has a special feel to it. It has such a unique and charming ambiance.

I listened to the sample, but am just not sure about it. Doesn't really do anything for me, but will check it out when we go in a couple weeks and see if actually being there makes it work. I hope so, because HS has always had a certain ambience for me and I really hope this doesn't change the whole mood.

I wish TDO would build up Sunset Blvd. to be even more reminiscent of Old Hollywood. That was the best Hollywood. More glamour, more magic, much less political.

Old Hollywood's treatment of minorities, women, unions, and enemies brought down by labeling them 'Commies' was pretty political.
