That said, since a chunk of my retirement has disappeared this week due to the stock market, I'm thinking that you didn't spend enough down in Florida. I think you should plan an immediate trip back. The weather will be nicer this week and the crowds should be low. So do your laundry, repack and hit the trail. My future depends on you.

If you were hanging on my every word, as well you should have been, you will recall that I originally booked using a 30% off Pin for the rooms, paying for DDP out of pocket for the kids. When "Free" DDP came out, we dropped the Pin, got DDP for both rooms, got an upgraded room, and still came out more than (I think) $700 cheaper.
You've seen my husband. He can work the DDP better than anyone.
