Huge thunderstorm now. We got out of AK just in time. Driving to 'Ohana in an hour for our last TS.

Hopefully that will all be ready for when I'm there.

Oh no....

After a week of dueling doctors, it would now appear that Auntie does indeed have Pulmonary Fibrosis, and it is significantly far advanced.
And while she's not likely to croak while I'm away, it will probably be sooner than later, within the next couple of years.
She has been referred to the Firestone Clinic in Hamilton, which is probably the best referral available.

In the meantime, I have reminded her about our recent discussion about Nick Vujicic, a Christian writer, actor, and motivational speaker born without arms or legs. Nick keeps a pair of shoes in his closet.

Just in case.

As I've been doing laundry the past two days, I have stacked anything that I plan on packing, on the bed in the spare room/office. The door to this room is always kept shut.
I haven't picked up the suitcases from storage yet, nor have I packed her stuff to go to my brother's.

And yet, somehow she knows.
