Guess they realized they could save a bit of time, effort, and money by forgoing the grey and just painting the red accents (unless theyre planning for some kind of differentiated routes like "local" and "express"). I think it looks a bit better with the white actually.

Personally, I think the red and gray mix is much more attractive and professional looking. The white is so yesterday. As long as they keep the reflective red, I'm OK with either, but I prefer the gray. I'm sorry "luv" but the plain white with the word Disney on the side...had run it's course successfully... time for something new.

It's your opinion. You're entitled to it! No need to apologize! :)

To me, the gray/red is very retro and not modern at all, especially with the design they are using. I prefer at least this white/red scheme better, but still am not a huge fan of either. Just seems too much like a city bus from the 70s/80s to me. Looks much like the DC city bus, which is not ugly, but, its a city bus. I actually think the DC bus at least has a more modern design scheme.

Silver bus scheme is being scrapped.. It's too costly for repairs and touch-ups.. (roughly double that of the White base).. White / Red is the new scheme.. Studio wrapped buses (Like the Ferb and Marvel) as funded by Disney pictures.. Separate budgets, so expect that to continue... It helps spread the costs out to another division.

Not so sure, some of the new buses with the new color pattern were brand new on the inside too, not just touched up but completely brand new off the factory floor. In fact I got some pictures and even rode in one, much less rattle and a lot smoother ride.

They should just splatter 'em all (like Jackson Pollock, maybe...? o_O) with some combination of mint green, pumpkin orange, lagoon blue, and lavender. After all, those ARE the official colors of WDW. :geek: ;)

I wasn't there long enough recently to see many buses, but I didn't care for the gray & red scheme I did see. I think the white & red is more visually appealing, but there needs to be something more "fun" than the plain-as-dry-white-toast 'Disney Transport' on the buses! Oh wait, that would mean TDO money would have to be spent, what was I thinking?

What qualifies as "fun"? There's a wrapped bus going around right now and people are about that as well. People will never be happy, no matter what is done.
