Good Saturday Morning Everyone..Hope You'All are keeping well..Here's my teaser for today..Now for a man my age,(21) I still watch what, and how much I eat at home. But at WDW it's a different ball game.I ain't travelling 3000 miles to snub up my nose at a overdose on cupcakes,or a full portion of Baby Back Ribs with a side portion of fried chicken. This is where the fireworks begin..:)..I reckon Women need more of an excuse than Men to watch what their eating at Disney.I could be way wrong here..So let the fight begin..Are women more prone to watching their diets on a Disney vacation compared to their other half.?;)

The short answer is *nope* LOL. I try to eat healthy all year, and throw diets out of the window... however, do try to eat atleast half way healthy (very little beef, veggies, not too much fried food) Ron can eat anything and not gain an ounce.... he doesn't diet at all!! (so NOT fair)

Yeah, I definitely eat more on vacation than normal. The sweets consumption goes up, the junk food goes up, you know the drill. You're supposed to let loose but not too much. Moderation is key. As long as those Disney eating habits don't continue after the vacation and you revert back to eating normal, you should be fine.

My wife and I are big advocates for healthy eating. We look at our bodies as our greatest investments. Basically you get out what you put in kind of thing. 90% + of our diet is lean and clean. BUT.... when we go to Disney World..... we are in the bubble. We typically get one trip a year for 10 days and we INDULGE. There is some restraint but not much. We still workout while in Disney but make the justification to eat whatever we want because we will get right back to our normal lifestyle when we come home. But when we are there it's cupcakes, pizza, cheese dip at cosmic rays, chicken nuggets, fries, ice cream, cookies, cheeeese, and the occasional brew!

Both me and DW eat whatever we want at Disney and to Hae with the carbs. We just go back to our normal way of eating when we get back and if we have gained any pounds they soon slide off .
Thats always worked for us as well. ;) It's a vacation from life after all, so why not enjoy it to the fullest.:D But we've been lucky that even with all the extra snacking and desserts, the all day walking balances it out and we've never come back with excess pounds.
