14 year old boys and Disney... what to do?!

I'm taking my nephew to the World this weekend. We're just going over for a day (I have an AP and he's getting the FL Resident promotion pass).
Thing is, he's 14 and doesn't really like big rides. Spaceship Earth/HM/PP are more his speed :)
Which park do you suggest? What else might he like in the parks? He's been to them all before, but ideas for how to keep him entertained would be wonderful.
Thanks!

Hmmmm since he doesn't like fast rides what about AK? I know they have EE but with all the animal viewing and shows that might be a nice way to spend the day. Have fun!

Thank you all for the advice and feedback. I've asked him and he said Epcot (old soul, perhaps?!). I think it's funny that that's the only one not mentioned on this thread :) Oh, well and I guess HM. I was thinking AK too- MK has a ton to do, but I imagine it'll be busy being MLK/long weekend and such. We'll see... any more thoughts, keep 'em coming!

No worries. If he's been to all the parks, just ask him what he wants to do. He's fourteen, not four. He can tell you what he likes the most. :)

My son is 15, and like your nephew, does not care for thrill rides. His favorite park is Epcot. He enjoys going on all the rides there, especially the new Test Track. He enjoys the area at the end of Spaceship Earth and Innovations. He likes going to Club Cool and trying out the sodas. Living with the Land is a must do for us. Even exploring the aquarium at the Living Seas. We enjoy the various performers around the World Showcase, and of course, would not miss Illuminations. You are a kind aunt for taking him, enjoy the time with him. It will be great wherever you go.

This is my limited experience with pre- to mid-teen boys and the parks they like. And it is a total of 9 kids, lol.

IoA
US
Epcot
DS
MK
AK

And they all liked Gatorland. One lists it as his favorite.

Since my three boys have become teenagers, we've spent almost as much time in Typhoon Lagoon as we have in the main theme parks. My wife and I love Typhoon Lagoon, too.

We went to Wet n Wild once- did the ride on the round float that has 3 drops on it... he was done with rides after that! We spent most of our time in the lazy river. He's a great kid but kind of a chicken :) (said with love)

Thanks for the advice and kind words. In my nephew's words, "I think Epcot because it's the most low key and chill and they have like all the places like London, or Mexico and all that." (exact quote from a text message, lol.)

My teen ds loves Epcot! He enjoys all of the snacking, shopping, and entertainment in the World Showcase.

If you're doing 2 parks, maybe do rope drop at the MK and do what he wants to do there, and then head over to Epcot later in the day since the WS doesn't open until 11:00.

Have a great trip!

If he said Epcot, then go with that. Test Track and Soarin are still pretty low key. Sounds like he wants to explore the World Showcase, which is awesome! You guys can do some Agent P missions together. And he might like to spend time checking out everything that Innoventions has to offer. Get him a park map and maybe a show schedule before you go and let him plan the day. Doing a park through the eyes of a kid (even a teenager) might be a refreshing change of pace for you.
