Bathing Suit Dilemma

I am having a horrible time finding a bathing suit that I like. I prefer 2 piece bathing suits. The bottom I prefer a skirt and the top a tankini. We are going to Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon on our upcoming trip. I was wondering if there is somewhere in The World I can find a bathing suit. How are the prices, also? I would like to find a high quality Disney themed bathing suit if possible. Thanks in advance.

At home, you might try looking in Target and Lands End (inside Sears). The Polynesian has the largest collection of swimsuits I've seen at WDW, but they aren't all Disney themed (they sell a lot of Roxy-Quicksilver stuff). Also try the Roxy-Quicksilver store in Adventureland (near Aloha Isle).

There's also a tropical shop in Downtown Disney also that has things like that I think, but honestly I dont actually think its Disney branded merchandise

The main store at Typhoon Lagoon has quite a few to choose from. I wouldnt leave it that late though to choose one, the place is pretty hectic, and you are going to want to be having fun in the water, and not choosing a swimsuit.

Lands End will give you the best bathing suit selection and they are nice quality (I have 2 of them from there). Finding a nice Disney themed one is a stretch though (unless you're 8).

It wouldn't be Disney-themed, but LL Bean sells 2 piece suits with tankini top and skirt bottoms. I think that they sell the 2 pieces separately, which can be helpful if your top and bottom are not exactly the same size.

Went to Great Wolf Lodge a few weeks ago. Got a new tankini black and white top with a black pair of shorts to match from Kohl's Dept. store. No Mickey on it, though. Stayed in place and was comfy.:)

Really? I've seen the occassional hydro induced ultra wedgie which left little to imagination but never anyone at the parks that tried to get away with something ultra revealing.....I did though see someone swim in Jean shorts and a full t-shirt which isn't really relatable but still water park connected.

I'll skinny dip!

It's a guaranteed way to clear out the park...

...and terrify all those who would be unfortunate enough to witness it.:D

Is that a no no?

I mean, come on, do you really want to see this guy without his shirt on?

You've never seen a Speedo on (how do I put this delicately) a nonathletic man?

...or a string bikini on a rotund woman

I have the eyeore tankini from disneyshopping.com. It's really comfy and is probably my favorite suit out of all the ones I own. :)

I really like the Tinker Bell tankini on DisneyShopping.com but the smallest size it comes in is a 6... and I wear about a size 0. I know that a size 6 is not huge by any means, but there's a big chunk of people who are way smaller than a 6, and we seem to get shafted in the clothing department a lot of the time. :(
