Since my trips always must be the last week of any month, that would sound promising. . .BUT. . .Lauren gets married on October 6th. That might be cutting it a little too close.
:(

You could throw in a quick one! You've got a good week before the wedding if you go then anyway. (I'm tentatively going the 23rd-28th.) If she doesn't have everything done by then, she's not gonna get it done!

It's value season anyway!

A pinnacle moment? What a great question! For me, as a first timer to WDW, it was the moment we saw the Disney World sign, and then our very first glimpse of the Wilderness Lodge, where we stayed. I teared up!

So Dot, every trip I take to the world I have what i like to call a pinacle moment. A moment on the trip that stands out and defines the trip. On our trip in October we went with 2 other families and pinalce moment was on Thursday night at Ohana's having dinner with just the 6 adults and watching the Hallowishes fireworks show.
The time before that was the last night there in MK and the park was basically empty and we watched Spectromagic at 11:00 pm with hardly anyone on the street.
This last time a couple of weeks ago it was the first night, watching wishes from the top of the contemporary.
So how about it, what was your pinacle moment from this last trip?

This is, indeed, a great question. The problem is not trying to come up with one, it's trying to pick one of many!
One does stand out though. One day in the Magic Kingdom we encountered a group of Korean school children. A large group all dressed in identical blue jackets. We ran into this group several times and each time, as we passed them, we could hear them singing as they walked. Beautiful young voices singing in unison. . .always a Disney song. So sweet. That same evening, we left the park after Wishes and headed to the Resort Monorail to travel to the TTC. As we waited on the platform we could hear singing coming up the stairs from the platform across the tracks from where we stood. It was the Korean group, and as they neared the monorail platform we could hear that the song they were singing this time was "God Bless America". The monorail crowd, usually quite loud, fell into a collective silence as we all listened. When the song ended, the entire platform burst into applause. The children were obviously pleased that their performance was so well received and, as one of the listeners, I can tell you I felt so fortunate to be in that place at that time. Magical!
