OK, so let's say Mrs.A works as a child care provider for Mr. B's children and gets paid "x" dollars per week. She uses that money to purchase Christmas gifts for the kids, and lets Mr. B say they are from him. On a subsequent check, he reimburses her by, let's say $200. . Should she be paying income tax on "X" dollars or "X + 200"???????
:brick: :brick: :brick:

I would say no as long as Mrs. A (aka Fishy) has receipts to back it up.

That is what I would think.:lookaroun

(Although I don't know what FMV stands for.)
FMV: Full Motion Video- refers to videogame cutscenes which have been previously rendered (usually by a more powerful program), and act simply as playback, as opposed to real-time rendering of cutscenes (and in 3d game enviroment).

Basically I was paid, , which should be reported to the IRS, then I spent that money on the kids, so I was repaid ( not an income!), but he has reported it to the IRS as my income!

Can you prove that you got the gifts. and the repay was exact payment of them? Otherwise is was dirty pool on his part.
