Back for a moment. I'm going in late today... terrible weather and I don't want to drive in it with Lizzy. Not to mention I went in early and stayed late every day this week so far... so today's going to be a bit of a lazy day. Just paperwork and such. 
I need to get lizzy's Christmas pics taken so i can send out our holiday cards. I always put pics of her in them. LOL

Working on cleaning the basement - lots of things we've put away for no apparent reason, so I'm trying to get them together to donate to a local shop here.

I just figure that sooner or later I've got to go back to work, so I need to take advantage of the time I have at home now. Besides, it keeps me from mindless snacking....

That's why I decided to just chill around the house this morning. All my calls get forwarded to my cell anyways. So, it's just the paperwork that will have to wait. Everything else is fine. And I'm not about to brave a storm for paperwork. LOL
Maybe I'll do some more packing this morning and be productive...
(hey did anyone else get the new explorer? It's exactly like firefox now with tabbed browsing and such... my computer automatically updates me and when i logged on this morning I had a whole new system to get used to. Weird.
) Seems to be a good thing so far though.

btw... did that link work for you betty? I sent it to Nibbs and it didn't work... lemme know if I accidently sent you a bad link. LOL
oh... and OT. I know it's bad that my 15 month old is still drinking from a bottle at night... but... she regressed a bit over the last couple of months and I'm not pressing her.

There's big news.
Ever since my mom's been in the nursing home, I've picked up some dreadful things over the winter months. At least I can try to make sure I don't get the flu.

I can handle needles ok... like drawing blood and such... but i don't do shots. I'm about 3 years behind on my tetnus shot and I've never once had a flu shot. :lookaroun

Having had the flu a couple of times in my life, I know I never want to have it again. It is awful and takes so long to get over. For kids and the elderly it can be really serious. The shot is worth the trouble.

If that's here security, there's certainly nothing wrong with it. She's had a lot of adjusting to do these past few months. Guilty of never having the shot either....Dave always does, but there's just something about injecting viruses into me that I just can't handle.....
