You saw Raiponce Tangled Spin in person this past week, or via online videos? Just asking, nothing nefarious.I did! It looks great. The lanterns really make it.
Would it have been better if the boats were floating in real water and pulled in unpredictable paths by an invisible track (thus not a spinner)? I would think so.
I’m not a hater! Flat rides/spinners are fine, and this might be the best one ever. But they’ve become ubiquitous and I think Disney can (and has done) better.
No, not in person! Just online. I’m certain it’s better in person! You saw Raiponce Tangled Spin in person this past week, or via online videos? Just asking, nothing nefarious.
Maybe then? Best I can find, Cosmic Rewind tracks began arriving around January of 2019, and that opened just over 3 years later. If you factor in Covid, maybe it could have been 2.5 years? Maybe this is slightly smaller scale, so 2 years. If track is arriving - what kind of schedule are we looking at compared to other projects?
Early or summer 2028 open?
Ah! Thanks for the reality check. So fall / before Christmas 2028 best case then.Maybe then? Cosmic Rewind was also built a bit differently. They built the building and then put the track in. By all accounts they will do track and then building around with this one.Maybe then? Just re-watched Monsters University and Monsters Inc.I seriously doubt the Door Coaster will look “bad” like Cosmic Rewind.
To me, it’s mostly instructive to the parking lot, similar to Flight of Passage.
I genuinely think the Soarin’ show building is more intrusive throughout more of the park; it’s about a toss-up.
Pretty much a non-issue either way.
What!? Harry Potter is a world that people actually want to visit and spend time in.I will say Monsters University could truly support its own land Potter style.
A little premature me thinks. The execution determines whether it captures the playfulness and immersion that Disney used to be famous for. What!? Harry Potter is a world that people actually want to visit and spend time in.
The monster world looks like a boring university that just teaches students how to work in a large factory.
I think there is a balance there honestly. I’m not quite at @Pizza Moon “excitement” or at “boring”.What!? Harry Potter is a world that people actually want to visit and spend time in.

well….. that area was at one time -Not directed at you but acting like Muppets Courtyard was this central masterpiece is also a straight sham. It’s got the same issues as Monstropolis.
"install set elements" sounds like interior work on the surface, but Stage 1 is missing you know an, interior. This might be all courtyard permits.
My guess Monstropolis will feel very similar to Zootopia and very playful.A little premature me thinks. The execution determines whether it captures the playfulness and immersion that Disney used to be famous for.
