Are you excited about these rumblings?Ohhhhh any hints you can offer? A third ride? Fully enclosed? Railroad station? Hotel?

It sure would wouldn’t it……Someone mentioned it before but a spooky Fantasyland-style dark ride would be perfect to add here. Could help fill the void left when Snow White closed
At first I thought this was a misheard requote because it is exactly what was said to the imagineers working on the SWGE project after their initial pitch. Unfortunately we see how that one turned out, yes bigger but also budget cut to death. The gist of it, as I understand it, was that WDI’s pitch was not big or bold enough.
I don’t know if that original pitch was designed to hit some earlier-specified budget someone had in mind, or they were doing “value engineering” before anyone told them to.
I do get the sense that the “think bigger” happened late last year or early this year.
Before the rumors I assumed three rides was the baseline. Coaster, E-ticket, and a flat.Ohhhhh any hints you can offer? A third ride? Fully enclosed? Railroad station? Hotel?
I'll only be excited for future Disney product if I am made aware of the Styracosaurus AA from DINOSAUR being sent to archives. Nothing more nothing less. I just want that AA safe. Are you excited about these rumblings?
Yes, fireworks from that area would be great with an alternate villainous score.Interesting, would you be able to see fireworks from there too? I was curious to see if that could fit. I'd doubt they'd want an empty amphitheater while walking through the area (like at DAK) so maybe they'd shield it inside a Mt. Prometheus type caldera from Tokyo DisneySea?

I’m hearing the initial plans for Villains Land have been scrapped. Imagineers have been told to think of bigger, bolder ideas. Budget secondary.
Not sure if this is “new players, new game” re: Josh as CEO.
OK Bob/Josh, I will try to live a bit longer to make the drive and buy the pass to see this, it might be the best thing Disney has ever doneWe're going past the berm, boys!
Seven rides. Full complement of food services.
Theater for watching day-time show and to watch the fireworks at night.
Villains Resort and DVC attached.
And it gets it's own gate (the 5th!).
D23 timeline thrown out the window.
Every 30 minutes a stunt mechanical villain gets tossed into a pit.
M&G characters are trained to get away from guests as fast as possible and to ruin selfies.
All food is served black (with a dye).
A twenty-eight year old pretending to be a "Descendant" teen will jump on your table and kick food around singing forgettable pop songs.
Central fountain comes alive with a spray of water and a crescendo of music and then dies down 5 seconds later.
Many lands in Magic Kingdom did not start with any more than the 2-3 rides you see in new lands today. They were just meaningfully expanded over the first couple decades of the park's existence, which is what's not as common anymore.Look to the other lands in MK.
Is this the Ed Harris or the Yul Brynner version? We're going past the berm, boys!

I don’t disagree. But. In fairness, there’s a precedent there. New Orleans Square has two attractions and a bunch of shopping and restaurants. Now, those two attractions just happen to be, possibly, 1 and 2 on the greatest attractions of all timeJosh needs to break the mold of the template of new land = 1 E ticket and 1 smaller ride. Look to the other lands in MK. If they want this to be a “land” comparable to the others in MK, they need to extend beyond the berm, along with a train station have 4 rides, E Dark ride, E coaster, and 2 smaller rides, a quick serve and a sit down, and obviously shopping. There should also be a stage for performances. I’ve always felt from the beginning that they should have a show that is done in answer to the show they put on at Cinderella’s castle. And if a path could be made from Fantasyland to Villians land, there could be moments where the Fantasyland character could run into their Villians counterpart. There could be so much interplay with the characters here it would be fantastic.
WDW got way too into the pattern of Pandora got 2 attractions, SWGE got 2 attractions, TSL got 2 new attractions. They need to stop this. It’s like the financial people mathematically determined that a land maximizes its ROA with only 2 rides/attractions. There should be way more wild creativity from land to land.

Indeed indeed indeed
Very curious if the non-villain spooky IP would be sleepy hollow or nightmare before ChristmasBefore the rumors I assumed three rides was the baseline. Coaster, E-ticket, and a flat.
I heard more rides based off of other spooky IP (not necessarily villains), some cool scenes inside of the villains e-ticket, dining, better atmosphere, a fleshed out transition area that could tie to one of the other possible non-villain spooky IPs that could get a ride.
I thought a train station was a given?
I don't think hotel... Right now. And I don't think it'll be enclosed either (imagine the big thunder sightlines, that'd put seeing the parking lot/stardust inside of Berk to shame).

I can't see them implementing one they can't monetize highly from, nightmare I would think if between the two.Very curious if the non-villain spooky IP would be sleepy hollow or nightmare before Christmas
