Blue Sky Studios' non-sequel output in general is great. Don't let the fact that it's been milked to the point of exhaustion scare you away from watching the first Ice Age.
I’ve heard some great things about both movies, so I’ll have to check them out one day!

Another great animated movie I would highly recommend is 2015’s The Peanuts Movie from the defunct Blue Sky Studios. It’s basically one of, if not the best adaptations of all time. It nails everything perfectly, from the simple yet heartwarming story, to the message about how good qualities are more important than being popular or successful. The cast is also just perfect, as instead of casting popular celebrities, they casted children for all of the kids! There’s also a subplot involving Snoopy & the Red Baron that most people say is dragged on, but I thought it was a nice addition that’s just as great as the main plot. While not a perfect movie, it’s still a phenomenal one that deserves more recognition. It’s a solid 9/10 in my eyes.

But, yeah. This is a great question that more people need to answer! There’s so many animated movies out there that don’t get the attention & respect they deserve! I would say you should consider this question as a future Question Of The Day!
Good answers! The Peanuts movie and Blue Sky in general both tend to be slept on

1. Probably The Story Source from the last Sorcerer’s Apprentice. It’s the only project that I’ve done literally everything I can for - music, design, a physical model, etc.

2. Music. Well, audio in general, really. I’m still trying to work on my composition and arrangement skills. I also want to do a little more graphic design.

3. In a universe already as dense and sprawling as Citrus Dreamin’ how will you honor the plot and character development we saw in the first season while keeping it accessible to new players?
I promise the lore will be at least be as accessible to newcomers and easy to understand as the lore in Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic.

count me in!
Welcome to the Voyage!

I’m down to play :)
Woohoo! Fun fact: your Captain Cacao dark ride for Visions Fantastic is what was the original inspiration that started the ball rolling on making this Celestial Dreamin' instead of just Citrus Dreamin' 2! So if anyone hates this, blame @tcool123

To anyone who might be concerned about signing up when this game starts over the holidays or because they're focused on the new One Sentence Comp, don't worry!

I know for some people the holidays mean a break and extra time to focus on hobbies and pursue passions. So, I wanted to start over the holidays so they could have a place to do that!

I also know that for some people the holidays mean extra work, extra family time, and just less free time for hobbies and games. So, I made sure to accommodate for that

When the game starts on 12/22, it will open with a Round Zero, non-elimination, everyone works together, 2 week long prompt. There will be rewards for participating, its meant to be a fun project, and this will be a chance to show off what you can do making it easier to divide the teams. But it will not be held against anyone or negatively effect anyone who cannot participate or cannot do much during this Round 0

The goal is to add fun over the holidays, not stress!

Thank you to everyone who has signed up so far, I promise to do my best to make this game as fun and rewarding an experience for you as I can! If there's anything I can do to make that better for you, let me know!

  1. What Armchair Imagineering Project have you done that you think best shows off your talents?
  2. What do you hope to get better at during this game?
  3. Ask me a question. Any question. About the game, about life, about movies, my favorite color. Any question at all
I'm not great at making riddles.

1. I’m proud of (mostly) everything I’ve done here, but I think the project which most shows off my “talents” as of now would be Crossroads City, a Medevial Baghdad land for Clockwork Kingdom. I’ve recently focused more on my writing. In the past, though, I was more a presentation guru with the Minecraft mini golf, or the Infinity Train Google slides. So it will be interesting to see where I go from here - hopefully, one of the projects here becomes my next answer to this question!

2. This year I’m challenging myself to add more of my design skills into the games. Since I started focusing on writing, I’ve built up a lot of design skills, with 3D modeling, construction, adobe suite etc, so we’ll see if I can find a place for these to come to the game. The challenge will be timing, as many of these projects are fast-paced, and a lot of those take a fair bit of time. We’ll see!

3. What... is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

1. It's hard to pick one project, but I think one that comes to mind recently was the Nickelodeon-Cartoon Network crossover land in SYWTBAI Season 20 - my role organized the layout of the land and getting everyone involved which is something I definitely enjoy doing.

2. Being more available. The last few years have been very tough to keep this hobby up, but I love seeing the community still flourish!

3. How many times will you see Avatar in order to view the rumored 4 Avengers Doomsday trailers attached?

1. To this day I think IronHeart First Flight is still my personal best. I managed to earn the bronze medal in SA7 with that project and that was a time when everyone on the forum was producing some of their very best work. So I’m particularly proud of that project.

2. I want to continue to grow as a team leader and be able to put passion project levels of effort and enthusiasm into prompts that I might not be as invested in.

3. Should I be on Santa’s nice list or naughty list?

I think you should look on the bright side! The winters can get pretty cold so some extra coal to help with heating will come in handy :P

  1. What should we know about your mini golf game with Tiki?
I cheated on every hole

Welcome to the voyage, ya'll! If I'm not mistaken this puts us at 17 officially confirmed players which means we will have at least a cast the same size as Citrus Dreamin'!

  1. Off the top of my head, I'd have to say Alice Down the Rabbit Hole was one project where I was completely "in the zone"
  2. Time management (or in other words, my activity in regards to these games)
  3. Favorite physical media/home video release(s)?

I always loved the extras on the Incredibles DVD. The fake old Mr. Incredible cartoon (with and without in character commentary by Bob and Frozone), Jack Jack Attack short, files on all the supers, the ability to rewatch the scene where Dash escapes from syndrome's crew whenever I want to back when I was 10 years old... Great DVD great bonuses. Plus, a fun question that I'll turn over to the whole thread for anyone who wants to answer!

Favorite physical media/home video release(s)?
