Is posting a pointless complaint supposed to be better if you know it’s pointless? 🤔
What planet of no sarcasm do you hail from?

I’ve seen far more impressive under construction than that

DAKL when it was a shell and a fake straw roof…wtc 1 and the wtc subway terminal 2.0 (the doves nest)…

The design is off…the aesthetic. Very much like the last two DVC’s tossed up…

But my knees are too shot to bow to Bob …apparently there’s a long line to do that for every thing done already 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you’re bending your knees to bow, you’re not doing it correctly. 😉

I have to say, I love the lazy river! Pure guess, but they will just probably close the loop on the left in looking at the pic?

They will.
That part is actually encouraging…they’ve been trying to get by with doing as minimum as possible and the assumption is they’re finally getting blowback. Just a guess but the “cabins” might be the straw that broke it.

I think this will have a very nice pool area. Lazy river, water slide, pool, and a kids water play area that seems rather impressive if it gets built to plan. They haven't built anything like this since Stormalong Bay, if you ask me. Kidani's is nice but probably #3 once this is built.

The pools have been steadily lacking since probably DAKL…with a few exceptions

The one that actually pretty nice…due to size is the new wilderness lodge one. Since the first one was “not deluxe” by design…

If they need to sweeten the properties a little to charge $300 a point…I’m all for it

I like the kidani one…but mostly Because of the okapi and Casanova
The Kidani pool area was surprisingly very nice when we finally stayed there.

Now, I’ll preface this by saying I know a lot of folks in these parts are not fans of Riviera. My wife and I absolutely adore it. And are absolute favorite pool - the smaller Infinity Edge pool within the hedges - is our favorite pool on the entire WDW resort. We hang out for hours in that pool area.

If this new one is offering more along the lines of Stormalong Bay, however, then it will have to be visited after it opens.

Thus far just another high-rise urban project. There will eventually be some trim, accents and theming but in no way reflecting wilderness, woods or anything resembling outdoors lifestyle not even urbanized (brick and mortar) glamping. Oh well, at least there will be some views of the lake and the abandoned island.

Keister Koaster or Stormalong Bay would be what I consider a large water slide.
Getting back on this - Looks like one water slide. This won't be to the length of Stormalong's slide. Maybe KK (two 360 circles and then into the pool, as designed). I don't see anything about the pool's concrete in Bioreconstruct's pictures that suggests anything different.

I appreciate all the likes on this post, but I was actually seriously asking! Is this left over from River Country??

Can you give some context as to where it is? I can’t tell from just that photo.
Assuming the shoe tree is what it is shown in the Bioreconstruct photo here

I would say it seems that yes, that is the last remaining watering hole from River Country
