So wait the bar opens November 9th, not 10th?

Hard to know until it opens. They may have a stock list they aren’t sharing publicly.

Since it’s only two signature cocktails, I could see them being made to order.

I'll add that in the third image, it may not be period- or style-correct simply to place moulding over a continuous panel of wood, as is done here.

An upscale piece of furniture, such as in a fancy hotel, would've used an actual panel insert, either painted or of a different wood or grain, for visual interest:

The Met Museum's collection of American furniture is filled with good examples:

For reference, during my woodworking days I studied American furniture from pre-colonial to ~1900. Here's a reproduction 1761 Nathaniel Mulliken tall case clock, and a Michael Dunbar sack-back windsor. I made them both by hand from plans:

I did not have "Len Testa is a woodworker" on my bingo card.

Experiencing it in person is a mixed bag. The carpet is very good - not necessarily a better design than the old one, but not a significant downgrade. The elevator and mural and stained glass are lovely.

The check-in is atrocious. It’s worse in person because the degree to which it clashes with its surroundings is very noticeable.

But the bottom line is that the space, especially on the first floor, is no longer a lobby, it’s a bar. That feeling extends beyond the bar itself - the furniture and its arrangement is determined by the needs of the bar. It cheapens the whole feel of the place and brings a touch of doubletree suites slithering into what is otherwise one of Disneys most pleasant and unique spaces.

I wonder where the bartenders will come from ? We have favorites at several Disney locations (none of them being wine bars)

Hopefully they’re made to order. For $20 it’s very reasonable to expect customizable made to order drinks.

If only they’d bring the orchestra back but I know they won’t because they don’t do things just for atmosphere anymore.
