Soarin’ Across America to replace Soarin’ Around the World for Nation’s 250th Birthday

Kinda seems like a bullish list…to be honest…

The best parts about THE UNITED STATES (i hate that they’re using ‘Merica in the title…it’s not accurate) are the nature scapes inland…not really the city skylines and beaches…with some extensions

The best city skyline/reveal…
No joke…it’s probably Pittsburgh from the south. As ridiculous as that sounds
We've been a nation of industry and engineering for a long time now, and one the best way to show that is our cities. I personally think the skylines of NYC, Chicago, and the National Mall are fantastic sites to see along with Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, and our other natural landmarks.

Genuine question, since Epcot has 3 theaters, could there ever be a possibility in the future that all 3 versions are available to choose to experience at the same time (like OG Soarin’ is in concourse A, etc) or do all theaters need to be synched to the same film at the same time?

This would make so much sense, wouldn't it? I'm guessing, logistically, it'd be a nightmare as all 3 would have to share the same initial queue and having people choose one at the junction would slow things down, and possibly reduce ride capacity (though one work around could be to stand-by get seated randomly, fast-pass or whatever gets to choose)

Not sure why this is temporary… I feel like Soarin’ Around the World is showing its age, and about a decade lifespan per ride film seems appropriate.
Temporary meaning “so book your trip!”

I imagine, at a minimum, this will show July 4, 2026-July 4, 2027. Then they evaluate based upon popularity.

This is a great surprise! Entirely unnecessary, non-IP, just meant to improve our Epcot day. Despite the broken core, I’m so happy with all the love for the attractions at Epcot lately.

National Mall? You'll get The Mall of America, and you'll be happy!

It would certainly fit in with the idea that different concourses take you to different places.

Its possible for them to do different films, the issue would be the queue. The way to do it would be eventually just have them random.

The Ohio River cities all have some pretty amazing reveals from their southern approach. Cincinnati (on I-75) and Louisville are pretty good, too, oddly enough.

Yeah but Cincinnati sucks

But to your point…the river cities have cool approaches because they were cut from the mountains….which can easily be captured by drone now

I'm assuming and hoping the initial run lasts a full year too (at least through the holiday 2026 season!).

And no reason why they couldn't whip this out seasonally in the future around July 4th each year.

It is planned to run through the LA Olympics at least at DCA. I don't know if the Epcot schedule is different.
