I think I am the only person who doesn't enjoy Banana Ball ...

.... And no, I am not fun at parties
It makes yern for the missed opportunity that was Orlando getting the Rays. They probably would have played in this stadium for a while, and it would have been a fascinating experience.

This is not even close.

Banana Ball may not be liked by baseball purists but it is helping to draw young fans to the sport, that’s undeniable and desperately needed.

I just hope fans realize the actual Savannah Bananas will not be playing in these games that are an extension of the original. Shouldn’t be an issue though, the baseball is secondary to the entertainment which is essentially what minor league baseball has always been anyway.

Also good to see the baseball stadium getting some use by a big crowd. It’s a crime that they don’t host spring training or a minor league team anymore.

it's fun, i've been to a game...

but....

This is a horrible location for a game. It's extremely popular, and the stadium at ESPN only seats 10,000. That's ridiculously low for the attendance these games see.

Banana Ball will be played in a variety of ventures some larger, some smaller, for the 26 season. Their main goal is to put on a great show. WDW is a fantastic location as a destination known for fun and entertainment. And if you can’t get to see a live game they post them to their YouTube channel for free.

Love Banana Ball! They picked smaller stadiums for games where the newer teams are the headliner, so this spot makes sense in that regard. Still, that lottery is going to be tough to win to get a ticket.

And, this continues Disney working with the Bananas. Ironically, the Bananas and their "Fans First" mentality feels more like Disney than Disney does these days.

Grayson Stadium in Savannah's Daffin park (Home of the Bananas) only seats 5,000. It use to host minor league teams from the MLB corporation and I've spent many a evening enjoying games there.

MLB and NFL stadiums are not smaller.

It’s actually pretty decent/comparable to the other venues on that list for the non-Bananas games. Will be interesting how that product is accepted after many have experienced the “pull out all the stops” stadium tour in MLB/NFL/college venues.
