Ah...and you don't see the obvious flaws of using those metrics to compare Epic to another park in the area? Or to determine whether Epic is a huge hit, which was what you were responding to initially?Yelp, google, reviews I’ve seen on YouTube, Forums, etc
Now hold on, I was just told that if I rejected or changed what magical surveys and reviews said, I was just another pixie duster shill. (Not the actual words). Not quite sure why you are redirecting...I am pointing out that it should be common sense as to why Google reviews of a new park are not an accurate representative for how it compares to other parks. Or how successful the opening has gone...which again points back to the OG post. Now hold on, I was just told that if I rejected or changed what magical surveys and reviews said, I was just another pixie duster shill. FTFYPublic trolling on TWDC is a great barometer with hard data to support this.
I am BAFFLED by how this irresponsibly this company is being handled. From D+, to the movies, to the parks. Ive never known a company that understands their customers less.I think I speak for Disney fans around the world in complete totality when I say, "Paying ever-increasing prices for a continually declining product is what we're here for."
It depends -- from where are their hamburger patties and hot dogs imported?…so then…that tariff excuse is garbage then?![]()
If you think that’s bad…go look at it from 1975!!It’s always fun to look back on previous years’ price increase threads. Here’s one from 19 years ago. We could just change the $ amounts, and most of the comments would sound eerily familiar.
I just saw from discount orlando tickets that prices are set to increase yet again on 1/1/07. I couldnt find out how much they would go up but it just seems like they are increasing the price frequently. It is getting very hard to take a family of 6 there and I hope this trend does not continue!

Haven’t you read that bookOh, I have stopped going. I still love what it could be and don't want to give up. If you enjoy it, as is, I don't get it, but I'm happy for you.
As I said, annual price increases on everything is standard operating procedure and has been going on for decades no matter what is going on in the world. It’s always fun to look back on previous years’ price increase threads. It really depends on where you’re at…8 bucks for a pretzel and 5.50 for a bottle of coke IMO is a bit much
…well the jury rests there…Yelp, google, reviews I’ve seen on YouTube, Forums, etc
Unless you are a significant holder, it is hard to break through all the noise that way.As a stockholder I am complicit as well for not voicing this louder.
Ouch, baby…I am BAFFLED by how this irresponsibly this company is being handled. From D+, to the movies, to the parks. Ive never known a company that understands their customers less.
As a stockholder I am complicit as well for not voicing this louder. I think WDC leadership (ALL of them) should be looked into.
Any time I think about giving them my hard earned money through annual passes, I am brought back to reality by the fact that they have not and will not change and can not improve at this current rate.
That’s very eastern thought/zen of you…Unless you are a significant holder, it is hard to break through all the noise that way.
Honestly, the only real way for most people to be heard is in mass. For that, there needs to be enough agreement and willpower to pull it off which is often where things fall apart.
Well they couldn’t build 5 years ago as Comcast built an entirely new complex because they spent all their money on hand sanitizer, duct tape for arrows on the ground, and those dangling plexiglass sneeze guards…Sure, tariffs absolutely bear some, but by no means all, of the blame. But… Disney routinely increased prices when there were none of the current tariffs. And Disney neglected to undertake major building projects when it would have been much cheaper - neglected for decades - and undertook these projects when it was very obvious costs were about to explode. Because Disney is headed by executives who, like almost every other decision-maker in every American corporation, convinced themselves all the tariff talk and promises of other calamitous policies that would disrupt stability and increase prices was just bluster, and they were so much smarter then anyone who took the talk seriously.
So Disney deserves no sympathy. None.
I really do enjoy SeaWorld! It really depends on where you’re at…
Did you pay $89 for your ticket at seaworld today or $160 for it to MGM?
Remember…they come from the same place…but only one is served to you in a “luxury” amusement park![]()
Agreed. A collective acceptance of low standards has facilitated this stagnation. I don’t foresee enough people raising their voices.Unless you are a significant holder, it is hard to break through all the noise that way.

Their food is expensive but as you say gate is cheap.
A long time a go they had A GREAT all you can eat pizza buffet. It was a no brainer for us, every visit we went straight there.
Then they got rid of it of course and we are back to waking around and seeing what we like to eat, making laps because we cant find anything we want to eat for the price.
