It was not easy to cut this incredibly talented cast down from 12 to 8, but it had to be done. Honestly, that's why it's top 8 and not 6 as initially planned, I just don't know how I would've done it. That said, we already know three players advancing on, so let's remind them here.

12th Place- @ThemeParkPriest

Priest exited the game after this round by his own decision due to real life events, so we thank him for playing and using up a slot so others worry less. Great game Priest.

11th Place- @Brer Panther

Brer Panther has played a very solid game, but unfortunately this round has led to what seems to be burnout. While I think you for playing and congratulate for making it this far, it is the end of the road.

Pi's game has been absolutely outstanding and this round was no exception. I look forward to seeing what Pi does in the semi-finals.

Tegan is a consistently great player who even despite her own medical issues earlier this game has made a huge impression and will be continuing on.

Tiki's game likewise has been very strong as a leader and a player. The Austin Power soundbites especially here secured him a spot in this semi-final

We have two spots available to advance forward but four players fighting for those spots. I think it's only fair to give a challenge to fight for your right to advance. I summon

You will be taking part in a three challenge minigame here where you will have 48 hours to complete three essentially OSC rounds with short writeups and not a ton of detail required. However, those three projects will be judged by the players already continuing in a private chat with me. Once they have selected the two players to join them based on the quality, originality, and imagination of the rounds, those two players will be selected.

Should you choose not to play in The Gauntlet, that is fine. Just let me know ahead of time and I will eliminate you and allow the other players to play. No worries.

Enter the Gauntlet
It's time for our four players to enter the Gauntlet and complete these challenges three. You will have 48 hours (give or take) to finish all three and be judged by your peers in utmost secrecy. I will provide the three challenges momentarily, but first, the rules.

You will be issued three challenges to complete. You do not have to complete all three, but the scores will be done by an average so it gives you a much stronger chance of placing.

These projects only have two days so you DO NOT have to do a full project. Think of it as a slightly more high stakes OSC. You have unlimited sentences and pictures, but don't kill yourselves trying to do something out of this world.

With that: the challenges...

Gauntlet Challenge One:
Redesign a bad queue at a Disney or Universal Park

Gauntlet Challenge Two:
Create a new park original character to place somewhere not in an attraction (think SMRT-1, Orange Bird, Sonny Eclipse, PUSH, etc.)

Gauntlet Challenge Three:
Design your dream dark ride (It can be busbar, trackless, boat-based, whatever, just has to be a dark ride.)

I remember when I was at Animal Kingdom and I remember how a** Na’vi River Journey’s queue is. It’s barely themed, hot as f*ck, and very boring to walk through.

Rise of the Resistance, Flight of Passage, HP: Forbidden Journey, Haunted Mansion definitely not sabotaging your chances in the Gauntlet but if you do any of those I’ll have you in the top of my list- the legal hoop hole lets you redefine bad as bad

Edit: But actually the Incredicoaster and LM at DCA is in desperate need of a new queue
