Lightning Lane at Walt Disney World

Nope…

It means they have to maintain the push of lightning lane to make up for lost revenues due to an overall decline in demand for their products…

Pick another shell
Maybe have a separate ticket event at night, so people will get the illusion that they are getting a bargain with limited attendance and no LL. (sarcasm). People just LOVE buying a day ticket and a separate night ticket. (More Sarcasm).

I know we will disagree but if the drop times are still available & accurate as they were with Genie where you were basically able to get on every ride still worth the price for those knowing what they are doing. Either way i agree this is nothing more than them needing to offset losses everywhere else so may as well go to the well that keeps pumping money
So we aren’t gonna agree…expect we totally agree on the main point? 🤓

If I was a local AP holder I would not purchase LLMP, because, yeah, you’re right, you can duck in and out whenever you want and ride the occasional ride when waits are low.

But as an out of stater who is paying thousands for flights, hotels, rental car, etc, you better believe I’m shelling out the extra $30ish per person per day so that I don’t spend my (limited) time in the parks standing in line.
As a AP holder and local my wife and I go all the time. We are huge ride people anymore but I but the Single on occasion for guardians or something else we want to go on. We take our shot on the other rides. We did the PP in Epcot one day as I wanted to try it out. Was expensive but we did everything and when we wanted to go not a window which made it nice. Probably won’t do that again as sometimes we go with a couple other people, silly to spend $1200 -$2400 depending on which park. I’d book the VIP tour instead.

That’s a comparison I would not have thought of! Been going to wildwood since the 70’s.
Being back the planet of the apes ride !
One of my “few” (aka thousand) pet peeves is that 20 years ago I railed about the concept of them selling “partial days”…don’t let that genie (pun intended) out of the bottle or it’s gonna go bad.

Well now a lot of the park “news” are repackaged, relabeled, and repetitive “exclusive ticketed events”.

That’s block pricing…high fee for minimal time and overhead. How brilliant?

That reminds me of the boardwalk…and I was gonna go seaside but I thought wildwood sounded more classy 😎
