Walt's fighting back from the great beyond.
Ok this is great! “Walt’s curse” !!!

We have seen it at work!

Harmonious
Star Cruiser
Star Wars
EPCOT planter and broken in ground lighting
Rivers of America re filling its self.

INTERVIEWER:
“Mr. Iger, why have so many projects under your watch failed?”

BOB:
“Well, as I am the best CEO in the history of the company, I can only attribute it to Walt’s curse”.
😉

Cars and Villains are many years away.

While its fun to discuss we have no idea what we will end up with.

Their plans could change and change again.

Just look at the EPCOT renovation. That changed many, many times over the years.

Oh, don't misunderstand me... I lost faith in Disney years ago.
Now all I have with current Disney products is hope, as in:
Hope they don't screw this up too badly.
Hope they deliver half of what they promise.

Has Disney communicated a timeline for either land yet? I have 2028 in my head for Cars but not sure if that’s just made up.
There is no announced timeline for Piston Peak, except for what was said in a D23 event in August of 2024 that Piston Peak and everything else announced will be done in 5 years. So, August to December of 2029 is the deadline.

Tho, it's likely to be finished sooner.

Interesting that Walt didn't care about his golden city idea being turned into a theme park that got clowned on the Simpsons but he REALLY cared about a planter and broken lighting. Damn that mischievous Walt!
