And yet…the sun would have rose in the east tomorrow nonetheless

For you kids at home: this is what is going on. We are in a “desperation” period

They added some whizz bang for about 5 years…and now we’re as few years clear of that and it’s in stagnation

This used to happen…late Eisner and iger’s first 6 or so years.
So now really clawing for anything. The uber fans are looking for validation and not accepting the period.

Those that have made enough rotations know I’m right…so a reminder to hate the game, not the player.

A parade? Now merch for a parade. Incase you’re curious…That’s a “oh…they have that new parade…let’s watch it” type of thing. No buildup needed.

The 100 minute wait for the little mermaid show today?…everyone remember what happened there?

They’ve ALWAYS done media events for this sort of thing. Going back all the way to Disneylands opening day. Remember, part of the big reason 07/17 was so chaotic for Walt was the microphone cables, power cords for cameras, and news everywhere.

Well, I am sad because my trip is July 5-12. On the other hand, it may be less crowded since Starlight is on the horizon.
