Paint The Night Parade Comes Back Next Year For DL’s 70th Anniversary

Ballroom dancers were actually just recently cut due to Disney not being able to get the costumes working. There’s a post circulating online how the cast members from those roles just found out opening night, and are now out hours/jobs.

It did! It's a fun optical illusion-esque thing, very kinetic and one of my favorite floats.

As the cast has stabilized it appears that the only dancers we lost were the 6 candelabra princesses, but we gained performers elsewhere (+1 snowflake dancer, +2 jellyfish) so it's not terrible. Definitely feel their absence though; the ballerinas don't quite have the flair in their choreo that the candelabras had. Hope they find a fix soon.

Is Frozen the only thing stopping the Wreaths?? I'd be surprised if it was only 1 PTN Float...

Never Mind ! everything else fit under DCA's wires!

They would also have to remove the top of the little mermaid float again

Does it have something to do With the Union and Disney? Is this the reason why we get decreased entertainment throughout the park.

According to the post I read it had to do with costumes not being ready.

If this is the real reason Disney should be looking into retraining their costume designers instead, because how many issues have poorly designed costumes caused?

I only recall ever seeing 2 jellyfish, so maybe that was during their DCA run then?

Well...........maybe That's why Magic Happens can't run with the 70th Cavalcade or DL won't restore F!'s Dragon......Not Good if True!!!!!!

Maybe we should wonder if PTN is safe this Halloween and Christmas!

I'm not sure how much I buy that, as they had been scaling back the stunt show before Mazloum took over. Also he came from Signature Experiences, which has entertainment as part of its offerings. So I don't know if its cuts for the reasons stated originally about the costumes or other reasons, but I sort of doubt its because the new president doesn't like entertainment.

Intresting change tonight, they moved the dancers that usually walk on the side of the princess float to the front of the float where the now cut court dancers use to be.

They added a 3rd person to that spinner thing tonight, its a bit weird because that person isn't hooked up to it so if one of them drops it they'll most likely not catch it in time anyway.
