Lets hope most attractions are originals, otherwise there will be no incentive for many to visit.
Yes I'm sure the brand new park is going to request WDI ignore all the popular stories for their shiny new park and create attractions based on stuff no one has heard of.Lets hope most attractions are originals, otherwise there will be no incentive for many to visit.
Shanghai Pirates would like a word...Lets hope most attractions are originals, otherwise there will be no incentive for many to visit.
Not putting words in mouth, but I think they meant new attractions period, not new IP content. Disney isn't going to allow a park to be built with its brand if it's not full of their IP.Yes I'm sure the brand new park is going to request WDI ignore all the popular stories for their shiny new park and create attractions based on stuff no one has heard of.
Family went to Dubai on holiday . Can drink in certain areas of the hotel property. If there are any resorts or restaurants associated with the park I'm sure they will serve. Any non-Muslim can drink in UAE in approved locations.
I meant not full of clones, IP is fine. Tokyo Disney went with full on cloning, but times are different now and the competition is bigger.Yes I'm sure the brand new park is going to request WDI ignore all the popular stories for their shiny new park and create attractions based on stuff no one has heard of.
I’d argue HK is still the worst park for heat, Abu Dhabi has a very dry heatThe hot weather in Orlando is nothing compared to the UAE. Tourists keep in mind UAE frowns upon PDA, being drunk in public and alcohol drinking in non approved areas. Looks like it won’t be a typical day at Epcot.
I was soaking wet like a sponge in Las Vegas ( dry heat ) and Orlando ( oppressive heat ).I’d argue HK is still the worst park for heat, Abu Dhabi has a very dry heat
They’re not going to run it, so …"We gonna slap IP on it and then run it into the ground"- Bob Iger
Splash Mountain!Abu Dhabi is hot and humid though, it’s definitely going to be the hottest destination
Oh my good god. And I bet that "statement" was made without an ounce of irony. Here’s the quote on what they said when WaPo asked them how they plan to deal with the criticism:
“Disney is a global company with operations all over the world,” the company said in a statement. “We are always respectful of the countries and cultures where we do business, while always adhering to our own standards and values.”
Unless those standards and values get in the way of making a BOAT LOAD of money.
The hypocrisy and hubris is amazing.
