Yes, yes, I know we just got back. We went in the middle of December, then again for Christmas, then again in the middle of January, and now - our third month in a row…

When: Feb 2-4
Where: All-Star Music, and All-Star Music (you’ll see.)

Wait, wait - that’s not right. Pretty close, but not right. Let’s try again.

And Brian

OK but those were reject “blooper” pics from our last TR. Here’s one where we’re overdressed:

That’ll do.

And…Mickey.

This may be the first time I try lighting lane - if it works out - mainly to try Tron on Wednesday after Brian leaves (possibly with Dramamine?)

I mean, if I take that pill, I might as well try Guardians, right?

And if I get the multi LL thing, I’d love to ride Tiana’s Bayou thingy again.

But it’s Tuesday and I haven’t booked a single thing yet. Woo hoo! Let’s goooooo!

You won’t need Dramamine for TRON.

Guardians is a different story….

There was this one time someone borrowed my phone and signed me up for Guardians…

🤫

😆

😉

I’m in a 3-headed emoji mood today.

If I’m going to take the pill for one, I might as well take it before both (but the info is helpful in deciding!)

Also possible: my Wednesday TR could be all about taking a nap on a bench for 4 hours. 😴

You definitely will need it for guardians. I had to sit for half an hour at the ride exit to get my bearings. Took me a couple hours after that to feel back to normal.
See, that concerns me.

I used to go on all manner of rollercoaster, and absolutely loved them.

Then, when I was about 25, I went on the then-new Batman ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.

That thing messed me up so badly, I felt horrible the rest of the day. Had to sit for awhile. Pretty sure it was the corkscrews, which I've avoided ever since.

But my motion sickness or just discomfort has gotten worse with age. Can't do Star Tours. Have moments of slight discomfort on Flight of Passage, even BTMRR, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Nothing preventing me from going on them, but less enjoyable than I remember going on much bigger coasters at Cedar Point and elsewhere. It used to be pure bliss. I would try everything and enjoy it. Now even TV shows with big swooping scenes can make me turn my head.

Well, the Dramamine is packed.

Anyone: Does the LL transfer over to another park after you do 3 rides? Or is it 3 rides max per day, regardless?

Yea I get the same way. Star tours is a no go, but I can handle smugglers run as long as the pilot is decent lol. I also have a fear of heights and don't like that feeling of my stomach dropping. Saying all that, take the Dramamine and ride it. It is an amazingly smooth and fun ride.

I believe only if you do the multi park ll. You can do as many rides as are available but only once for each ride.

For me, it was Lightning Loops at the same park. Instant migraine that stayed with me all day. I figure it was the inversion and refused to try Rock N Roller Coaster at DHS for years.

For LL multi pass, you can always hold 3 at a time. There’s no max per se, you can book another one each time you use one. And there’s no “multi-park” version of Lightning Lane. You can use it at other parks as long as you have a park hopper or AP. So, once you use your first, you can start booking at any park.

It was probably 10 years ago, and I rode Rock N Roller coaster 3 times in one day. Ended up with a bizarre case of vertigo the next morning. Yah, never again for inversion coasters for moi! ;)

@Tony the Tigger , yes, take your Dramamine (non-drowsy formula) with you, just in case. (Another OTC alternative is Bonine, as that is also in a non-drowsy formula.)

Before the cruise, I took one of the less-drowsy Dramamine to experiment. It still made me drowsy. (Hey, I should remember that when I can't sleep tonight - and then I can dream about spinning and flying with no worries. :hilarious: ;))

I did book a LL for Tron on Wednesday from 6pm-7pm. Woo hoo! First time. That should give me a good window of time to casually collect my things, get over to Epcot (I'm remembering this time) to catch the Lyft back to the airport for my something like 9PM train home.

The multi LL would not have included Tron, so I didn't see the point. I'll try to get on TBA, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Maybe I'll try to drag Brian on there while he's with me.

Now: I can still get a LL for Guardians before Tron (maybe should have reversed that order) just have to schedule it a few hours apart so I'm not rushing around. Didn't pull the trigger yet. That one is also not included in a multi LL so again, I really don't see the point. I don't have to go on everything.

******

I am simultaneously plotting my birthday trip in August...wanted to do a bucket list Deluxe for 3 nights, someplace we hadn't stayed before - Poly, Contemporary, etc. Turns out availability has redirected me to another Deluxe first: Wilderness Lodge! Specifically, Boulder Ridge 1BR Villa!! Holy cow! I watched WDW videos of it last night, this is going to be amazing. (And, close to our hearts at The Cabins.) Easy access to MK. The whole deal.

So, I have to plan that, plus the Record Show visit in June...oh, plus this coming weekend LOL!

The first time I rode RNR, I made sure it was the last ride of the night, so if it gave me the same headache, at least I'd soon be able to sleep it off. I had no issue at all with RNR (though I've only ever ridden it once a day!)

So it was either the height of Lightning Loops, or the fact that RNR is a corkscrew and maybe not a full inversion?

It might help to sit in one of the first few cars for Guardian's. When I went on it two years ago with a friend we loved it. Last trip we both came off feeling it had affected us but not too bad. We were in one of the last cars. We later learned the cars in the back get more force than the ones toward the front. We rode again asking for row 3 or better and we loved it as much as the 1st time.

All I know is that there are 3 inversions on that coaster; apparently, my head didn't like being positioned upside down multiple times! :hilarious:

RnR never used to bother me. The most recent time (years ago) it did a bit. Haven’t been in awhile.

Thanks for the tip!
